In 2022, the Air Force relocated us to Montgomery, Alabama. Shortly, after relocating to our new duty station, we noticed much of our furniture was from thrift shops, yard sales, or from particle board manufacturers. If you know anything about moving in the military, these pieces of furniture do not hold up after a few moves. While looking for furniture that fit out style, we realized that furniture that fit our price range was not even real wood! This kickstarted our creative minds and we got to work.

Almost all of our furniture now was built in our garage, but as we were creating our dream furniture, friends and family began to ask for custom work. Eventually, word got out and folks began to ask for retirement gifts, promotion gifts, and awards.

Today, Tide & Timber is happy to offer everything from home décor, charcuterie, live edge wood slabs all the way to full furniture suites.
